Kate Highfield, is a teacher educator from the Institute of Early Childhood, Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia). Having taught for many years, Kate now works with student teachers, both at an undergraduate and postgraduate level. The focus of her research and consultancy work is on use of technology for learning and play and on the use of technology as a tool to enhance learning, child-led investigations and problem-solving.
